PDF to MD Converter

pdftomd.tools converts text-based PDFs to clean Markdown entirely in the browser with Mozilla pdf.js, so files never leave the device. It keeps headings, paragraphs, bullet and numbered lists, simple tables, and monospace text as code blocks. Useful for ChatGPT/Claude prep, Obsidian notes, and Git docs. Also offers MD to PDF, batch conversion, and a clean-AI-artifacts mode. Scanned PDFs need OCR, which it does not run. Bold, italic, and figures are not exported yet.
