SolidCraft CAD

SolidCraft CAD is a guide to SolidCraft, an open-source parametric 3D CAD application written in pure Rust (licensed MIT OR Apache-2.0). SolidCraft follows the familiar sketch, constraints and feature-timeline workflow: change a dimension and the model rebuilds. It runs as a desktop app on Windows, macOS and Linux, in the browser with no install, and through a built-in MCP server that lets AI agents model and measure parts. It exports STEP, IGES, 3MF, STL and OBJ. The guide covers downloads, MCP setup and how it compares with FreeCAD.
