remotify-mcp

remotify-mcp is a free, open-source MCP server for developers who want their AI coding assistant to execute shell commands on another computer. It runs locally over stdio and communicates with the remote machine through an HTTP relay.

The remote computer needs curl and bash and runs a listener without requiring SSH access or an installed agent. Users can approve commands individually or enable automatic execution. Three tools are available: remote_exec, remote_session_info and remote_session_reset.

Install with npx -y remotify-mcp@latest. Node.js 18 or later is required on the client machine. The project is licensed under Apache-2.0.
