Pixelroots

Pixelroots is a 1000×1000 pixel board in the spirit of the Million Dollar Homepage. Pick any free rectangle (minimum 5×5 pixels), add an image or text and an optional link, and pay $1 per pixel once via Stripe. The patch stays on the board for at least 12 months. You buy a licence to display your image or text and link, not ownership. Each paid pixel funds a tree in the planting queue. Trees are queued, not planted: there is no planting partner yet and no trees have been planted so far. Pixelroots is not a carbon offset, and there is no promise of traffic, clicks or search rankings.
