A while ago I noticed a routine step in our office archive: people printed every page just to stamp a document, then scanned the whole thing back in. I made PDF SealBox so we could do that part directly on the PDF. It can add a status or image stamp, spread a mark across consecutive page edges, number pages, add a watermark, split a file, turn images into a PDF, or export PDF pages as JPG or PNG. My coworkers now use it for our internal archive and have responded positively to the change.
It is for visible marks and routine document prep, not certificate-based signing. The normal browser workflow processes files in the browser and creates a new copy. Keep the original and review the exported PDF before archiving it.
