mdtable.app is a free online Markdown Table Tool for writing pipe tables without wrestling with pipes by hand. Paste CSV or TSV from Excel or Google Sheets, or edit cells in a visual grid. Set each column to left, center, or right alignment; the separator row updates to GitHub-flavored Markdown. Copy the result or download a .md file for READMEs, issues, Notion, and other Markdown editors. Everything runs in the browser — table contents are not uploaded to a server, and no account is required. Pipes inside cells are escaped so columns stay intact. Use cases include people directories, pricing grids, and project checklists.
