Jimaku-gaeshi

Free prototype for subtitle editors and reviewers. Generate an offline review HTML from a UTF-8 SRT; reviewers edit text and notes, then return JSON. The editor checks it against the same original SRT and selects individual text corrections while retaining cue numbers and timestamps. No transcription, translation, video playback or timing edits. HTML and JSON include all original subtitles in unencrypted plain text: use only an approved sharing channel. Supports up to 2,000 cues and 500,000 characters. Desktop browser recommended; browser saving, Windows/macOS exchange and editing-software compatibility remain unverified. Japanese and English tools are linked from the homepage. Built and maintained with AI assistance; no AI API is needed to use the tool.
