Your checkout page can load fine while Stripe quietly fails to deliver payment events to your app. Then people pay and get nothing, and a normal uptime check stays green.
CheckoutAlarm is for people who built a paid app with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit or v0 and take money through Stripe. It does two things:
- Page check: it loads one page you pick on a schedule and checks the status code and, if you want, an expected title or phrase. One miss isn't an alert. You get an email after 2 failures in a row, and another when it passes again.
- Stripe health: you paste a restricted Stripe key with read access to Events, Webhook Endpoints and Charges only. Full secret keys are refused. It emails you when Stripe events still haven't reached your webhook endpoint, when Stripe has disabled an endpoint, or when sales stop even though the last 14 days say they should be coming in.
You prove you own the site first with a DNS TXT record, a meta tag or a small file, so *.lovable.app and *.vercel.app addresses work too. Nothing is checked until you do.
What it doesn't do: it doesn't run a browser, fill in forms or press Pay, so it can't tell when your webhook handler answers 200 but never unlocks the purchase. It also doesn't alert when a Stripe account has no webhook endpoint at all.
Free: 1 site, checked daily, Stripe health included, no card. Pro: $19/month for up to 3 sites, checked hourly. Alerts are by email.
