Bamboo Player is a media player for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android and Android TV, built for the sources you already have. Add your own M3U or M3U8 playlist or your Xtream Codes login from a legitimate provider, open your video files or play from your local network, and it organizes everything into a clean library with an EPG program guide, favorites, history and "continue watching".
Its VLC-based engine plays MKV, MP4, AVI, MOV, M4V and TS, plus network streams over HTTP/HTTPS, HLS, RTMP and RTSP, with audio and subtitle track selection. On Apple devices you get AirPlay and, with Pro, iCloud sync of lists, favorites, history and settings. The Mac app can also browse SMB shares on your local network, download for offline viewing and record live streams. Android adds Google Cast and Picture-in-Picture. Parental control with a PIN is included.
Bamboo Player does not provide, host or distribute any content: you add your own sources, and you need the rights to what you play. Freemium: free download with limits; on the App Store in Spain, Pro is EUR 0.99/month or EUR 14.99 one-time (Lifetime). The store listings state it shows no ads.
